This page offers a panorama of Argentine visual art during the 20 th Century. The first workshop run by Guillermo Kuitca is set up and attend by the Fundación Antorchas scholarship holders, Fabián Burgos, Tulio De Sagastizábal, Daniel García, Sergio Bazán, Graciela Hasper, Magdalena Jitrik, Alfredo Londaibere, Mauro Machado, Agustín Inchausti, etc.
Jorge Macchi presents an installation at Fundación Banco Patricios. He also takes part, together with Roberto Elía, Martín Reyna and Pablo Suárez in L'Atelier de Buenos Aires, an exhibition held in France, organized by Philippe Cyrulnik.
The multidisciplinary event La Conquista, a critical answer to the celebrations of the 5th. Centenary of the discovery of America, is opened in Recoleta.
